As I sat in the familiar comfort of my chair, a spot that’s become sacred the last year, I paused time with a deep sigh, a breath, a release before I began writing a novel I’ve been weaving for some time. A favorite quote punctured my mind and I felt the need to share. At times, when life is moving too fast, slipping uncontrollably through my fingers, I remember these wise words of Matt Haig:
How to stop time: kiss.
How to travel in time: read.
How to escape time: music.
How to feel time: write.
How to release time: breathe.
So, for now, I will feel time as I escape into my novel.

I love it! Denise when I grow up, I hope to be just like you! Well, no chance of being as beautiful. .. but the thought is good enough for me! Much love. .. On Jun 14, 2017 11:35 AM, “E. Denise Billups, Writer” wrote:
