She chose a traditional life embolden by others
a husband, child, white-shingled house
gated, harmonized picket fences
a world of dreams, lollipops, and roses
tea and scones shared with the ladies
a respectable fate meticulously fashioned
in Klein and fragrant posies
faces perfectly rosy
a paper doll rigidly molded
coming unglued and yearning to unfold
a dormant role on more fertile ground
for a better world view
