I’m a glass of emotions
A web, beautifully complex, weaved from a lifetime of experiences
I keep moving forth with little chinks in my armor, refusing to be broken
My crystalline veneer tarnished, but I do my best to sparkle
And when life’s tussles threaten to topple and shatter me
I reach inside the brim of knowledge and reinforce my fragile surface
I polish my shell and prepare the damage
Ready for life’s hard knocks to splinter me again.
