In the corner of a quiet room, she sits practicing her daily ritual
Flexing mental muscles with painfully snarled hands
Sepia pages caressed, crunch and whisper with each turning
Filmy eyes dimmed with time
Stroke with cumbersome sweeps every weighty word
Held strong within frail walls
Her potent mind, a substantial fortress
Bolsters her feeble body with powerful wisdom time cannot steal
