I wish I could walk into your arms and feast upon your love

Dine on sweet lyrics and roll rhythmically in your arms

Gorge me on juicy similes

Tasty metaphors of the moon and such

And I’ll laugh and drink into dawn

At your lavish hyperboles

Feed me verses and stanzas dripping with spicy passion

Succulent words and

Syrupy phrases

Until I’m sated and drunk with your desire
